This is the shocking moment a tiger turned on a circus trainer, leaping on the man's back and clawing at his throat, back and legs.<br /><br />An audience member captured the terrifying incident on his mobile phone during a circus performance in Madrid, Spain.<br /><br />Circus workers ran into the ring with sticks to try and fend off the animal after it attacked Danny Gottani, a 35-year-old trainer who had been working with big cats for decades.<br /><br />At the end of the video, Gottani can be seen walking unaided out of the ring.<br /><br />Gottani, part of the Gottani Circus which had just set up in the Aluche borough of Madrid, was taken to hospital.<br /><br />His injuries are reported to be non life-threatening
