Gunmen who kidnapped two women from a resort off Semporna have demanded a 36.4 million ringgit ransom for the release of a Chinese tourist.<br /><br />Home Minister Zahid Hamidi says a team has been sent to negotiate with the reported middle person.<br /><br />Zahid adds that there has been no ransom demand for the Filipino hostage.
