Over 1000 migrants and refugees fleeing Syria and Afghanistan remain locked in a stadium on the Greek island of Kos, Wednesday, as police struggle to maintain control of the situation.<br /><br />Some of those stranded at the stadium suffered from heatstroke due to the harsh afternoon temperatures. At one point, the police used force to maintain control of the situation, pushing migrants away from the entrance to offices issuing papers to the European Union.
