PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim has dismissed a news report that he will replace Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.<br /><br />Dismissing it as mere speculation, Anwar told reporters that he did not meet Khalid last week to discuss the menteri besar's resignation.<br /><br />He said, both of them meet every week.and the latest was last Friday.<br /><br />Anwar was responding to a report by English-language daily The Star Online today that Khalid agreed to step down to make way for him.
