The vehicle import Approved Permits (APs) will remain for now, even as government denied that it has backtracked on its initial plan to end the scheme by December next year.<br /><br />Instead, International Trade and Industry Minister Mustapa Mohamed says an in-depth study will be conducted on the scheme which has been criticised for promoting rent-seeking and favouritism.
