Hundreds turned up on this morning at the Wat Siam in Sungai Petani, Kedah here to seek justice for Chee Gaik Yap, a marketing executive who was raped and murdered in 2006.<br /><br />Among those are Chee's father, Chee Ah Sau as well as Bukit Berapit ADUN Lydia Ong and State Speaker Datuk Law Choo Kiang.<br /><br />The demands put forth by them include appealing to the Attorney-General to provide updates on the case development and to add a rape charge on the suspect.<br /><br />Eight years ago, Gaik Yap, 25, a Universiti Utara Malaysia graduate, was believed to have been tailed by her assailant while jogging in the neighbourhood of Taman Ria Jaya in Sungai Petani.
