Liow Tiong Lai has been elected MCA president, replacing Chua Soi Lek, while Wee Ka Siong takes the deputy president post.<br /><br />Liow narrowly defeated Gan Ping Sieu with 1,186 votes against 1,000, while former president Ong Tee Keat bagged only 160 votes.
