Wife of custodial death victim N Dharmendran had her statement recorded by the Bukit Aman national police headquarters today.<br /><br />Surendran also urged home minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to explain the failure protect people in custody.<br /><br />Dharmendran's wife, Mary was visibly irate and expressed and disappointment at the police for allegedly claiming that her husband had died of asthma.
