The long held stereotype that the mainstream media is biased has been affirmed by a media monitoring study.<br /><br />The study: Watching the Watchdog, is a collaboration between the Centre for Independent Journalism and the University of Nottingham Malaysia.<br /><br />It finds that newspaper and television news, including the national news agency Bernama, heavily favors Barison National, not only in terms of volume, but in tone of coverage as well.
