The Parliamentary constituency of Raub will see new faces contesting the 13th general election.<br /><br />The previous Barisan Nasional candidate who has held Raub from the 2004 and 2008 general elections, Ng Yen Yen, will not be contesting. As of 16th April, her replacement has not been named.<br /><br />The opposition will be fielding Dato Ariff Sabri Hj Abdul Aziz of the DAP. He is also known by his blog name, Sakmongkol AK47.<br /><br />Dato Ariff is no new-comer to politics. He was the State Assemblyperson for Pulau Manis, Pekan between 2004-2008 and was the information chief of Umno Pekan under Premier Dato Sri Najib Abdul Razak.<br /><br />We wait to see who he will face at this general election.
