Sabah's political environment is quite different from peninsula Malaysia, with local parties sprouting.<br /><br />Among the main local opposition parties who are not part of Pakatan are SAPP and STAR.<br /><br />KiniTV talks to Sabah STAR chairman, controversial politician Jeffrey Kittingan.<br /><br />Kittingan was detained under the ISA on suspicion of plotting to secede Sabah from Malaysia.<br /><br />He has also switched parties multiple times.
