Four youths were arrested at the MCA-organised debate on the Talam<br />Corp debt restructuring exercise on September 12.<br /><br />The four, aged 21 to 25, were suspected of carrying weapons. Two<br />retractable batons were retrieved from the suspects.<br /><br />Cheras district police chief Mohan Singh Tara Singh personally quizzed<br />the four youths briefly before ordering their arrest.<br /><br />The suspects were believed to be among debate audience at the<br />International Youth Centre, Kuala Lumpur.<br /><br />A minor commotion broke out after Pakatan Rakyat leaders decided to<br />walk out of the event, prompting jeers from the mostly pro-MCA<br />audience.<br />Camera/Editing: Fendi Zulkfley
