CAVES preparatory training day 4. <br /> <br /> <br />The astronauts descend into the Sardinian caves to take some microbiological <br />samples. Underground creepy-crawlies are catalogued and their pictures taken. <br /> <br /> <br />The cavenauts have to crawl through tight spaces and come across some <br />interesting cave formations. <br /> <br /> <br />CAVES, an abbreviation of Cooperative Adventure for Valuing and Exercising <br />human behaviour and performance Skills, prepares astronauts to work safely <br />and effectively and solve problems as a multicultural team while exploring <br />uncharted areas following space procedures. <br /> <br /> <br />Credits: ESA--V.
