Pakatan Rakyat MPs are sceptical that the slew of one-off cash handouts announced in Budget 2012 would be beneficial for the lower-income group and pensioners.<br /><br />Bagan MP Lim Guan Eng welcomed the move but opined that the amount of handouts to senior citizens was insufficient.<br /><br />"It is better if they were given RM1,000 as suggested in the Buku Jingga (Pakatan's shadow budget document)," he said when met at the Parliament lobby.<br /><br />http://malaysiakini.com/news/178050
