The spouse of a kidney patient who passed away after Kajang Prison authorities allegedly denied him treatment is demanding action against its officials.<br /><br />Human Rights Party (HRP) pro-tem central committee member S Thiagarajan lodged the report on behalf of Norlailee Hamzah at the Travers Police Station this morning.<br /><br />The report also named Inspector-General of Police Ismail Omar and Attorney-General Abdul Ghani Patail for "refusing to take action" on the matter.<br /><br />"We ask that Attorney-General Abdul Ghani to prosecute those responsible for this crime," said Thiagarajan.<br /><br />http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/186601
