The home ministry today revealed that there were 59 police reports lodged against the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) personnel for alleged torture and abuses between 2005 and 2010.<br /><br />Of the 59 police reports, 23 cases are still being investigated, 29 cases are awaiting instructions from the Attorney-General's Chambers and seven cases have been flagged for no further action. <br /><br />This was revealed in a written reply by the home ministry to Puchong MP Gobind Singh Deo. <br /><br />Speaking to reporters later, Gobind Singh expressed alarm that out of the 59 police reports, there had not been a single prosecution to date.<br /><br />Full Story: http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/158255
