Spring 2008, Ecrins-Mercantour Zone (French Alps) <br />Separatist Rebels Lead Commando Actions in The Mountainous Zones. The 27th Mountain Infantry Division Must control the Zone. <br />The 5th Combat Helicopter Regiment Handles Close Protection and Deep Strike Operations. <br />4 Targets and a Radar Were Destroyed by the Tiger Who Provided Substantial Fire Support. <br />This training was made in Preparation of 2009 Afghanistan operations including 11 helicopters (Tiger, Caracal, Cougar, Gazelle...)
