Suspects in Austria migrant lorry tragedy appear in Hungary court

Four men accused of involvement in the trafficking of 71 migrants found dead in a lorry in Austria have been brought before a court in Hungary.<br /><br /> The men – three Bulgarians and an Afghan – were given one month’s detention pending further proceedings.<br /><br /> The case was heard in Kecskemet in central Hungary as prosecutors believe the truck began its journey from the city.<br /><br /> One refugee from Syria told Reuters he was shocked to hear about the tragedy just days after he and his family took the same route to Vienna.<br /><br /> “We don’t know what the car, maybe it’s a truck, maybe it’s a van. And we have to follow him because on his area, he is the boss and if you don’t continue with him there is, I don’t know in English, gangsters, they are there, between the woods.
