Justin Bieber told Jimmy Fallon why he broke down in tears after his MTV Video Music Awards performance.<br />Many fans questioned the singer's authenticity when he cried after signing "Where Are U Now" on Aug. 30 but Bieber insisted he was being real.<br />The 22-year-old expressed his disappointment in his performance, explaining he cried because he was upset over a few missteps.<br />"I missed some cues so I was a little disappointed with that," he added.<br />"And everyone - the support - I was honestly wasn't expecting them to support me in the way they did," Bieber said.<br />So I was just feeling judged and wanting to win so badly, and wanting to do what I love so badly, that I just put everything on the line."
