Around 40 activists opposed to a high-speed railway between the Italian city of Turin and Lyon, in southeastern France, stormed the construction site on Saturday night (Sept. 5), Italian news agency ANSA reported. <br /><br /> The “No Tav” (“No Treno Alta Velocità”, or “No high-speed train”) activists clashed with police, lighting firecrackers and hurling stones at them, ANSA said, adding that eight people had been arrested in Italy.
