A heartwarming video has emerged of firefighters rescuing a horse from mud in Dej, Romania on Friday.<br /><br />The footage, captured by a bystander, shows the rescue crew using a pulley to drag the animal out of the ground.<br /><br />According to the filmer, the horse had attempted to drink from the water but slipped and fell into the mud. <br /><br />After a strenuous effort, the horse was eventually dragged out and can be seen towards the end of the video reunited with its friend. <br /><br />The filmer wrote online: "One of the horses approached the water to drink and slipped in the mud on the valley. <br /><br />"The horse struggled to save himself but sank deeper into the mud."<br /><br />"The owner asked for help firefighters who after almost an hour of work have managed to save the horse, who returned to his partner," he continued. <br /><br />"Firefighters dug with their hands in the mud in which they rested horse legs, in order to save it."
