Scenes of the Malaysiaku Malaysia Day street carnival on Bangkung Row Bangsar to the sound of the Sape. <br /> <br /> <br />There were performances by artistes and school children, while a bazaar featured local and indigenous products and handicrafts and showcases by various NGOs. <br /> <br />Some of the NGOs that took part included Women's Aid Organisation (WAO), the Breast Cancer Welfare Association, We R Malaysia, World Wide Fund for Nature and Malayan Nature Society. <br /> <br />There were also talks by groups like the Bar Council and film screenings by independent filmmakers. <br /> <br />Fund-raising dinners were also organized by the participating restaurants that line Bangkung Row. <br /> <br />The celebrations started at 3pm and culminated at 10pm with a wayang kulit show by the Baju Merak Pak Dollah troop which came all the way from Kelantan. <br /> <br />Performers: <br />Kee Ling Kok Association Lion Dance Troop. <br />Persatuan Warisan Sarawak Kuala Lumpur <br />Kumpulan Wayang Kulit Anak Baju Merah brought by Eddin Khoo <br />The MYCAT children's performance were organized by MYCAT <br />Drum and kompang ensemble by Kamrul Bahri
