Barisan Nasional (BN) Secretary-General Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor said today that the government will not neglect the Chinese voters in Hulu Selangor.<br /><br />"We cannot take back the allocation for the Chinese. There are also Chinese who have voted for BN in the by-election," he explained when asked if the government will heed the suggestions of Perkasa chairman Ibrahim Ali.<br /><br />The independent MP had earlier suggested that the Chinese voters in Hulu Selangor should be punished by the government for not voting MIC candidate P Kamalananthan.<br /><br />Tengku added that since BN is a multiracial party, they need to help the rakyat irrespective of their race, religion or "whatever their beliefs are".
