The defence team in Anwar Ibrahim's sodomy trial has applied to disqualify the judge on grounds of 'bias'.<br /><br />Outside the court, Anwar described the situation as "a political trial with the unfair use of the local media".<br /><br />"You can see this in the trial with what was not supposedly said, but was reported. All we want is a fair and just trial," he said.<br /><br />Anwar said the media had played up the complainant's testimony about the trousers, which implicated him.
