Pakatan Rakyat MP Tony Pua has urged the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission to investigate the abuse of power and misappropriation of funds by BN members of parliament and Umno division chiefs.<br /><br />dap 2010 budget rocket cafe 071009 tony pua 01 Citing the just-released auditor-general's report 2008, the Petaling Jaya Utara DAP MP said the RM500,000 allocation is channelled to MPs in states controlled by BN.<br /><br />But in Pakatan-run states, the funds are managed by the Implementation and Coordination Unit under the Finance Ministry through the local district office.<br /><br />The money is to be used for public amenities maintenance programmes, basic infrastructure projects and rural development projects.<br /><br />Full story here: http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/115482
