An arrest warrant has been issued against Kapar member of Parliament S Manikavasagam for failing to accept a subpoena to appear at the inquest into the sudden death of local actress K Sujatha.<br /><br />Coroner Mohd Faizi Che Abu issued the warrant this morning.<br /><br />He said he was satisfied that the police had made attempts to locate Manikavasagam but that he had refused to accept it.<br /><br />Manikavasagam was warned by the cononer's court yesterday that he would be slapped with an arrest warrant if he continued to avoid a subpoena to testify at the inquest.<br /><br />As a result of Manikavasagam's absence today, the inquest was postponed to July 9 and 10.
