Mexico’s Foreign Minister has arrived in Egpyt. Claudia Ruiz Massieu has travelled to Cairo with the relatives of eight Mexican tourists killed in error by the Egyptian Army.<br /><br /> The aim is to repatriate the dead, support the injured and clarify the circumstances of the tragedy with the Egyptian authorities.<br /><br /> Four other people who died are believed to be Egyptian citizens.<br /><br /> Six people were wounded and are being treated in Cairo’s main hospital.<br /><br /> It happened on Sunday. Egyptian forces hunting militants in the country’s western desert mistakenly opened fire on several vehicles carrying the Mexican tourists.<br /><br /> Cairo says the group were in a forbidden area where the army were hunting militants.
