Mean Cat Attacks Baby and Forces Family to Call 911 <br /> <br />A 22-pound cat named Lux attacked a baby. Lux's owners scrambled to a bedroom inside the home for safety and dialed 911 for help. <br /> <br />Don't ever doubt the potential ferocity of a sweet looking kitty. A large feline in Portland, Oregon recently got way out of line and terrified its owners.<br /><br />The 22-pound cat named Lux attacked a baby. Lux's owners scrambled to a bedroom inside the home for safety and dialed 911 for help. <br /><br />"It just went off, over the edge and we aren't safe around the cat. We're trapped in our bedroom. He won't let us out of our door." [KPTV]<br /><br />Lee Palmer, Teresa Barker, the couple's young son Jesse and even the family's dog were forced to wait in the bedroom until police arrived, as they feared a confrontation with the nasty kitty. <br /><br />When officers got there, they brought along a dog snare.<br />After the cat was behind bars, the family was told they could leave the bedroom.
