An Iron Dome battery was deployed in Ashdod on Thursday, following a defense assessment carried out by the Israel Defense Forces' Southern command.<br />A battery was deployed in the same area last month, after Palestinian prisoner Mohammed Allaan's health seriously deteriorated after 65 days on hunger strike.<br />Allaan was rearrested on Wednesday, following his release from the Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon.<br />The Israel Defense Forces Spokesperson's Unit said Allaan was detained due to intelligence information.<br />A few hours after he was rearrested, Allaan's lawyer said he has resumed his hunger strike, and is under medical supervision at the prison.
