The Chicago Bears are not prepared for life without Jay Cutler.
That was glaring the moment Jimmy Clausen walked onto the field during Sunday's 48-23 loss to the Cardinals.
Clausen came in after Cutler was picked off by Cardinals safety Tony Jefferson and sustained a hamstring injury while attempting to make the tackle on Jefferson late in the second quarter.
Cutler ran the zone-read to near perfection against a reeling Cardinals defense.
Arizona had to honor the quarterback keeper after Cutler burned them for sizable rushing gains.
Unfortunately for Cutler, he remains his own worst enemy.
The turnovers are inexcusable.
They seem to happen every week at the most inopportune times.
If Cutler didn't throw that pick-six to Jefferson, his hamstring injury never occurs.
