Dagdi Chawl is famous as the fortified residence of Mumbai don Arun Gawli and a film about the gangster is being made in Hindi as well. The Hindi film has Arjun Rampal playing 'Daddy', the name Gawli is known by. A Marathi film by the name 'Dagdi Chawl' is also set to release soon.
