No copyright infringement intended. <br />Call me a Darkwing, Call me a sheep <br />I prefer lines over codes on computer screens <br />Why Shaun tanked while minions kept in the dough <br />I feel that tradition has sowed its last row <br />Sometimes you see too much perfection involved <br />What happened to flaws that seemed more hu-man? <br />Maybe it’s finally died? <br />People I don’t why you go for CG <br />From Pixar to Blue Sky there ain’t no rarity <br />Can’t just believe <br />Harryhausen and Nick Park agree <br />People I don’t know why you go for CG <br />True there is Toy Story, even Wall-E <br />True computers can help make great stories <br />But then there is Aardman, some hard working folks <br />Moving their clay and then painting broad strokes <br />These people work hard for not very much <br />And keep losing to software that might be quite rushed <br />Sometimes it feels like they’re blokes. <br />Still don’t why you just root for the CG <br />They may make the spaceman fly, but the latter makes crying sheep <br />You can be sure that there’s heart <br />Put into these different forms of art <br />But still I just can’t tell why everyone goes for CG <br />Out of the storyboards, into the screen <br />Leaving the pen and the paper <br />Either going to software or I’m sure some digital vapors. <br />Sometimes I keep staring up at the wall <br />And question when drawings were king. <br />Eager to draw, ready to wow <br />Why do kids go for CG? <br />Hollywood I don’t why you go for CG <br />When there’s Wallace and Gromit to even classic Disney <br />And if 2D’s not the norm, <br />Prepare for computer rise and fall <br />Soon, I know you will get sick of that CG <br />People I can’t tell why you still go for CG <br />Too high-tech, too cheap, you can’t beat the drawings <br />Cause when it comes to true heart <br />The clayness of Aardman over Minion farts <br />World I am sure you will grow sick of CG
