New facts have emerged in the mass shooting that took place on Thursday at Umpqua Community College in Oregon, indicating that the shooter specifically targeted Christians for murder.<br />The 26-year-old gunman Chris Harper-Mercer murdered nine people and wounded at least seven others before being killed in a shootout with police, according to official updated figures.<br />"The shooter was lining people up and asking if they were Christian," wrote one woman on Twitter who said her grandmother was in the classroom where Harper-Mercer began his rampage.<br />One student of the college, 18-year-old Kortney Moore, told the local News-Review that she was in a writing class when a bullet crashed through the window.
