Dana Griffin-Graves and her husband Arkell had given up on having a family of their own. <br /> <br />The couple, who had been trying to start a family since they wed 17 years ago, suffered four miscarriages and a devastating still birth at six months before deciding that they could take the heartbreak no longer. <br /> <br />Talking to ABC 8 News, Dana explained: ‘It was definitely a struggle, a roller coaster with emotions… I just got to the point I was like, “you know what, I wanna stop trying”.’ <br /> <br />So when Dana found out she was almost five months pregnant (after a visit to her doctor to find out why she wasn’t losing weight on her new fitness regime), she was understandably extremely shocked and excited. <br /> <br />She was in no doubt that her hubby would be too… what she didn’t know was how to tell him. <br /> <br />Dana knew that she wanted to break the special news in a special way, and that’s when she came up with the plan to surprise Arkell with an actual bun in the oven. <br /> <br />Thankfully Dana also thought to record the whole thing, as Arkell’s reaction was simply gorgeous. <br /> <br />Dana said: ‘His reaction was just priceless – I wasn’t expecting that at all. I knew that he would probably be emotional, but I definitely was not expecting the reaction that I received.’ <br /> <br />While Arkell added: ‘I’ve never been that excited before in my life. And not mainly for myself, for her.’ <br /> <br />Altogether now: Aaaaaaaaah.
