Portugal’s Prime Minister Pedro Passos Coelho and the centre right has won the country’s parliamentary election.<br /><br /> Although they won most votes in Sunday’s poll they have fallen short of an overall majority.<br /><br /> It is the first time in Europe that a leader who has imposed austerity measures on voters under an international bailout package has been re-elected.<br /><br /> Passos Coelho’s Socialist challenger Antonio Costa has conceded defeat.
