Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu sought to impose tougher measures against terrorists late Monday night, in a late-night emergency Cabinet meeting held in light of an escalation in terror.<br />During the meeting, Netanyahu assigned Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked to establish a mechanism which would significantly shorten the legal process to allow the State of Israel to demolish terrorists' homes.<br />The Prime Minister ordered executive detention orders to be levied against rioters as well, and demanded stronger action against officials who incite violence - a demand possibly aimed at Arab MKs who have been actively promoting chaos.<br />In addition, he ordered charges to be brought against Israeli citizens who witnessed the stabbing attacks on Rabbi Nehemia Lavi and Aharon Banita-Bennett and his family on Saturday, and who beat and ridiculed Banita's wife as she lay wounded in the Old City streets.
