2015-10-07 16 Dailymotion

Facebook, Inc.has taken another initiative to ease the use of social media by people with limited access to Internet (especially in emerging nations).
This time around the company has revamped its News Feed to let it function seamlessly even in case of weaker network connections.
Now, people with even 2G connections will be able to get the pictures and videos on their News Feed.
In addition, the updated feature will also be able to display some content even in the absence of a network connection.
For this, Facebook will recall the content from cache, that is, the stuff that was loaded (but not clicked on) when the connection was last available.
The move is in sync with the social media giant’s vision to expand its user base in emerging nations like India, Brazil, Mexico and others.
These countries not only have a promising outlook but are also critical for Facebook’s growth as the U.S. and European markets mature.
