This is a simple refreshing take on the classic old fashioned. Here we swap out the traditional bourbon or rye, with a dry dark rum. The kind of rum that you could sip on it’s own, with depth of flavour. <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br />1 brown sugar cube <br />½ tsp sugar <br />3 dashes Angostura bitters <br />1 dash orange bitters <br />2 oz dark rum <br />Garnish: lemon & orange twist <br />Glass: rocks <br /> <br />Method: <br />Add sugar cube, both bitters, and sugar to a mixing glass; muddle. <br />Add the rum, fill the mixing glass with ice, and stir. <br />Strain into an iced rocks glass. garnish with a lemon & orange twist.
