A police officer from the Metropolitan Police Trident anti-gang crime unit was reportedly shot in east London on Thursday lunchtime. <br /><br />This footage shows the police cordon following the shooting in Haggerston, Hackney. <br /><br />According to reports, a man has been arrested following the incident. The wounded officer was taken to an east London hospital for treatment.
