Ben Carson went on “This Week” with George Stephanopoulos to clarify his comment that had we been independent, the moderate Arab governments would have just turned over Osama Bin Laden. <br />Hmmm. I’m not sure that’s right. While they would certainly have faced pressure from low oil prices, that doesn’t mean they’d be any more willing, or able, to turn over Osama. <br /> <br />He also doubted whether el Trump had been actually blaming George Bush for 9/11. Again, the comments were made in the context of how politicians are incompetent, so it’s hard to see how he wasn’t blaming Dubya.
