Hundreds of slum dwellings were destroyed after a fire broke out in the Mangolpuri area of New Delh. Firefighters have brought the blaze under control with more than 25 fire trucks deployed at the scene. It is estimated that between 250 and 400 slum dwellings were destroyed in the fire. No reports of casualties have been made at this stage. Local authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the blaze.
