He was (my) co-journeyer) is an Urdu language Pakistani song from the serial Humsafar aired on Hum TV. It was composed by Waqar Ali and sung by Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch. It stars Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, and Naveen Waqar.[1][2] Upon the release, the song topped charts worldwide and captured a positive reviews from both critics and audience.[3] The song was also a hit in India when Humsafar was broadcast there. <br />It was written by Naseer Turabi in 1971 after the fall of Dhaka. The lines of the song are frequently used during the course of the show. It was composed by Waqar Ali and sung by Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch.
