The union urban development ministry has approved plans entailing expenditure of Rs.2,786.28 crore for 89 cities in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), an official release said on Thursday.
