Power House Rhythm Unit, which landed in April on Facetoface, was gundam techno with feels; the EP namesake was a particular nerve-tingler, comprised of a sturdy 4/4 exoskeleton topped by an insistent, repeating vocal blurt. <br /> <br />"The Switch" manoeuvres along a similar trajectory: a raw machine driven house-techno hybrid. It's hypnotic and alluring in equal measure featuring a synth line that vaguely resembles Bob James' "Nautilus" opening. <br /> <br />The Switch EP is the eighth package to come from the TANSTAAFL PLANETS imprint.
