Kadboli is a traditional Maharashtrian snack recipe made during the festival of Diwali. Our chef Archana brings you this easy savory recipe only on Ruchkar Mejwani. <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br /> <br />250 Gms Rice Grains <br />100 Gms Jowar <br />100 Gms Bajara <br />100 Gms Wheat Grains <br />1 tbsp Gram Dal <br />1 tbsp Urad Dal <br />1 tbsp Moong Dal <br />1 tbsp Cumin Seeds <br />1 tbsp Coriander Seeds <br />1/4th tsp Turmeric Powder <br />1 tsp Mix Masala <br />1 Cup Water <br />Salt to taste <br />Oil for frying <br /> <br />Method: <br /> <br />- To make the bhajani flour, heat a pan. Dry roast all the grains starting from rice, jowar, bajara, wheat, gramdal, urad dal, moong dal, cumin seeds and coriander seeds. Keep them aside. <br />- Grind all the ingredients in a mixer. Bhajani flour is ready. <br />- In a round bottom pan, heat some water. Add turmeric powder, salt, mix masala and very little oil. Bring the water to a boil and then switch off the flame. <br />- Add the bhajani flour and mix well. Let the mixture cool down for some time. <br />- Then make a dough of that mixture by adding little water. <br />- Shape the kadboli as shown in the video. <br />- Fry the kadboli in hot oil till it changes colour. <br />- Serve the crispy Kadboli with hot tea.
