Dramatic CCTV footage has emerged from China of a car crashing into a truck on a highway and causing it to swerve off the road, after the driver tried to eat the pomegranate his wife was feeding him. <br /><br />In the footage, captured on a security camera in Zhejiang Province last week, the car can be seen wobbling before rushing towards a truck in the next lane.<br /><br />The truck, loaded with fertiliser, then smashes off road into a fish pond with the cab destroyed entirely.<br /><br />According to news reports, the truck struck a villager who was working in the pond when the accident happened. He was then rescued and hospitalised with broken ribs.<br /><br />However, both of the drivers and the wife luckily escaped serious injuries.
