Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, who starred in two Spider-Man movies together, have split after almost four years of dating, a person close to the couple confirms to USA TODAY.<br />The couple has been plagued with break-up rumors over the last year, and both had competing schedules.<br />Garfield spent five months in Taiwan shooting Martin Scorsese's film, Silence, while Stone has been busy working on La La Land in Los Angeles with Ryan Gosling.<br />Garfield and Stone met on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man in 2011, he cast as Peter Parker and she as Gwen Stacy.<br />A tornado of press commitments followed, and the two seemed to make the most of it as a couple, charming fans and late night talk show hosts while managing to keep mum about their relationship.
