Kate Winslet has banned all forms of social media in her house, saying that it leads to issues like "eating disorders."<br />The Oscar-winning actress - who is mother to daughter Mia, 15, and sons Joe, 11, and Bear, 22 months - revealed that she and husband Ned Rocknroll have a "no social media" policy in their home and are trying to cut down on the family's usage of phones and tablet devices.<br />"It has a huge impact on young women's self-esteem, because all they ever do is design themselves for people to like them," the 40-year-old said in an interview with the Sunday Times.<br />"And what comes along with that?<br />Eating disorders.<br />And that makes my blood boil.<br />And is the reason we don't have any social media in our house."<br />Winslet, who co-stars in the new Steve Jobs film alongside Michael Fassbender, said parents should be taking mobile devices away from their children.
