This delightful 1934 Ub Iwerks animated burlesque of the classic Cervates' tale, DON QUIXOTE, finds the windmill warrior getting into all sorts of mischief while battling his imaginary foes. <br /> <br />The Film Daily, in its December 20, 1934 review, described the animated short as "smartly conceived" and "brilliantly executed" and further noted that it packed, "a lot of novelty and comedy in its brief span." <br /> <br />After losing distributor Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in 1934, the Iwerks studio's senior company Celebrity Pictures (run by Pat Powers) had to distribute the films itself.
