A shootout has reportedly taken place in central Paris, resulting in several casualties, according to the local media.<br />Police officials also said there has also been an explosion in a bar near a Paris stadium.<br />Gunfire near a restaurant in the vicinity of Paris' Place de la Republique has reportedly killed 2 and injured at least seven people, according to BFMTV.<br />People in the vicinity reported seeing several bodies lying on the ground.<br />France 24 reporter at the site of the first shooting said the attack happened at the restaurant's terrace.<br />Dozens of shots were fired, according to witnesses who described the scene as a "nightmare", the Liberation newspaper reports.<br />French police union now reporting 20 dead.<br />It is still not clear how many of the attack sites are still active.
